February is here! Along with Groundhog Day and Valentines Day, this month brings a ton of exciting Magic the Gathering events!
Wednesday Night Commander: Every Wednesday at 6 PM join us for Commander! This event is free to attend, and it's a great time to meet other Commander players, test out your newest concoction, and find inspiration for future decks!
Friday Night Commander League: Friday Night Magic is a staple in the TCG world! Join us every Friday for Commander League, with pods starting at 6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9 PM. Players who participate in this league will earn points over a four week period, at the end of which, promos and promo packs will be awarded. This event is free to play!
Friday Night Modern: Every Friday at 7 PM join us for another Friday Night Magic staple: Modern! The cost of buy in is $5, with participants earning store credit with each of their wins!
Standard Showdown: Beginning on Saturday the 17th at 6 PM, join us weekly for Standard Showdown. This marks the return of the Standard format to Black Dragon. This event is free to play, and while supplies last, players who participate will get a random promo!
The first weekend of February allows players to dust off their detective skills, as they ask themselves "Who done it?" during the highly anticipated Murders at Karlov Manor Pre-Release events.
Friday, February 2 at 6:00 PM is your first opportunity to play with cards from the newest set of Magic. The cost for buy in is $40. Each player who participates will get a pre-release kit containing 6 Play Booster packs, 1 Pre-Release promo, 1 of 3 new Mythic Rare cards exclusive to the kit (not playable during the event), and 1 themed spin down die.
Friday, February 2 at 11:59 PM (Midnight) is the return of our Premium pre-release event! The cost of buy in for this event is $75. Players who participate will have pizza and drinks provided throughout the evening. In addition to the pre-release kit, players in this event will get a playmat. The first 16 to buy in will get a Murders at Karlov Manor themed playmat, all other players will get a random playmat.
Saturday, February 3 at 12:00 PM (Noon) join us for a player favorite: 2-Headed Giant! The cost to buy in is $40/player. In this format, players will team up with another player and then open, build, and play as a team. In this format, players share a life total. It is a must play event!

Sunday, February 18 at 12:00 PM (Noon) join in on an exciting Commander Party event. The cost to play is $5. These events aim to help immerse players into the world of Murders at Karlov Manor. Players who participate in this event will get a special Commander Party promo.
Saturday, February 24 at 1:00 PM Join Black Dragon as we celebrate the launch of Ravnica: Cluedo Edition. The cost to buy in is $25. Players in this event will be podded in groups of 3-4. Each pod will receive 1 Ravnica: Cluedo Edition box. Players will crack pack, build decks, and find themselves stepping into the shoes of one of Ravnica's top detectives. Use evidence to determine the killer, the scene of the crime, and the weapon used. Players who participate in this event will get a special launch party promo, and the winner of the event will get a foil shock land.
