Friday Night Commander: Every Friday at 6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9 PM, join in on our Friday Night Commander Event! Players who participate in this free event will earn league points that go towards random promos from Magic the Gathering History and promo packs! Each league season lasts 4 weeks. Two-Headed Giant Commander: On December 6 at 6 PM, team up, brew smart, and take on the battlefield with the return of our monthly Two-Headed Giant Commander event. Decks should be limited to Brackets 1-3. This unforgettable commander experience is free to participate in.
Final Fantasy Commander Box Event: On December 7 at 12:30 PM, get ready for a festive twist on Commander with our Final Fantasy Holiday Commander Box Event! Build a 60-card sealed Commander deck straight from a Play Booster Box—no color identity restrictions, duplicate cards allowed, and any commander you open is fair game. With limited spots and epic multiplayer battles, this is the holiday event you won’t want to miss! 🎄✨
Summoner Skirmish: On December 7 at 3 PM, prepare your deck and strategies and get ready for the first Riftbound Summoner Skirmish (at Black Dragon). The participation cost is $10. The first 32 players to sign up and pay will get a special participation promo. Additionally, there will be a promo for the top 8 and the winner.
Commander Party: On December 10 at 6 PM, immerse yourself in the world of Magic The Gathering- Avatar: The Last Airbender at our Commander Party! With special rules, party cards, and story-driven gameplay, this casual event is perfect for fans of Commander and Avatar. This event is free to participate in.
Magic Presents: Player Appreciation - Turbo Tower: On December 12 at 6 PM and December 17 at 6 PM, celebrate Commander in style with Magic Presents: Player Appreciation – Turbo Tower! Every player starts the game with a special Commander Tower promo already on the battlefield—and you get to keep it as a thank-you for being part of our amazing community. Enjoy fun, fast games, and show your love for Commander!
Pokémon Cup: On December 13 at 11 AM, test your skills in our official Pokémon Challenge, where top players earn Championship Points and exclusive prizes on their journey to the World Championships. Grab your deck, bring your best plays, and battle your way up the ranks! Cost of Entry is $20.
Lorcana Infinity Weekend Event: On December 13 at 12 PM join us for Infinity Weekend, a special one-off event featuring the non-rotating Infinity format—where your favorite cards never rotate out! The first 40 players to register and pay will snag an exclusive “A Whole New World” World Championship promo.
NEURON Engage! Tournament: On December 14 at 1 PM celebrate the new era of Yu-Gi-Oh! with our NEURON Engage! Tournament! Duelists must have the NEURON app set up to participate - earn prizes like sleeves, a Celebration Field Center Card (for the first 16 check-ins), and 3 packs of Doom of Dimension just for playing! The cost to participate is $15+tax.
Holiday Hours: Black Dragon will have special holiday hours on December 24th. We'll be closing early for Christmas Eve. On December 25th we'll be closed for Christmas.
Black Dragon Closed: On December 29th Black Dragon Games will be closed for inventory. Please plan your game play and shopping needs accordingly.
