Friday Night Commander: A Magic the Gathering tradition, Friday Night Magic! Join us on Friday Nights with Pods starting at 6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9 PM! This event is free to attend. In October we will host Friday Night Commander on the 6th, the 13th, the 20th, and the 27th.
Friday Night Draft: Drafting is an exciting format that allows you to "draft" cards and build a deck. Making every Friday Night Magic Draft a different and unique experience! Friday Night Drafts in October include: New Capenna on the 6th with a $20 buy in, The Brothers War on the 13th with a $20 buy in, March of the Machine on the 20th with a $20 buy in, and Crimson Vow, Midnight Hunt, and Double Feature on the 27th with a $20 buy in.
Friday Night Modern: Every Friday Night at 7 PM, pop into Black Dragon Games to play this exciting constructed format! Each Modern night has a buy in of $5.00. In October, Black Dragon will be hosting FNM Modern on the 6th, the 13th, the 20th, and the 27th.
On October 7th at 11:00 AM, join Black Dragon for a Modern Double Slot 1K Regional Championship Qualifier! The cost for this event is $40, with the top 2 players earning an invite to the Regional Championship in Denver, Colorado!

On October 21st fight for the chance to take the title of Black Dragon Games Commander Champion! This event cost is $10, with the winner of the event earning the coveted opportunity to don the Champion Belt along with taking home a Dockside Extortionist. All players who participate in this event will get 2 random promos from Magic history along with a random promo pack. After that, dependent upon attendance, random prizes will be given out! The raffle will also be returning, with lots of exciting chances to win even more prizes.
On October 22nd brush up or increase your Magic the Gathering skills with this Intermediate Magic Learn to Play event. The cost to play is $20. Players who participate in this event should plan to bring their constructed and format legal Modern or Commander Deck. They will have time to sit down with a Black Dragon Staff member, as she helps players return to the game, or brush up on skills and terminology that they are struggling with.
On October 28th get ready for Halloween with a Magical Harvesttide Festival! The cost to participate is $25/player, with this event being a Sealed 2 Headed Giant special. Each team of players will receive four Midnight Hunt Draft Booster Packs, 4 Crimson Vow Draft Booster Packs, and 1 Collector Booster Pack from either set, to help build their decks.
