Step onto campus and unlock arcane secrets at the Secrets of Strixhaven Prerelease! Join us for a full weekend celebration of the newest Magic: The Gathering set, where players will build, battle, and discover the unique magic of Strixhaven’s five powerful colleges.

Each participant will receive a prerelease kit tied to one of five colleges—assigned on a first-come, first-served basis—everything you need to build your deck and jump into the action.

What’s in a Prerelease Kit?

Each kit contains:​

• 5 Secrets of Strixhaven Play Boosters
  
• 1 Secrets of Strixhaven Seeded Booster (college-themed)
  
• 1 Traditional Foil Rare or Mythic Rare card
  
• 1 Oversized Spindown™ life counter
  

Prize Support​

• All participants: 2 booster packs
  
• 3 wins: +1 additional booster pack (3 total)
  
• 4 wins: +1 additional booster pack (4 total)
  
• Top 8: Specially themed exclusive playmat
  
• 9th–16th place: Specially themed (non–Top 8) playmat
  
• 17th and below: Random playmat

Pick your magical focus (or let fate decide):

• Silverquill (White/Black): Masters of language and ambition, blending cutting wit with inspiring rhetoric.
  
• Prismari (Blue/Red): Elemental artists expressing raw creativity through explosive, beautiful magic.
  
• Witherbloom (Black/Green): Wielders of life and death, drawing strength from nature’s cycles.
  
• Lorehold (Red/White): Adventurous historians who channel the past to shape the future.
• Quandrix (Blue/Green): Mathematical mages who manipulate reality through patterns and equations.
  

When registering, you’ll be asked for your preferred college—choose wisely, or select “no preference” and embrace the unknown.

Entry includes pizza and drinks throughout the night, so you can stay fueled while you battle for prizes and prestige.

Pre-release kits are available for in store events only - take home kits will be available (pending availability) Sunday at 1 PM. 

If you purchase entry into this event, and do not participate, the cost of buy-in will automatically be refunded to store credit.
