Step onto campus and unlock arcane secrets at the Secrets of Strixhaven Prerelease!

Each participant will receive a prerelease kit tied to one of five colleges—assigned on a first-come, first-served basis—along with two bonus booster packs just for playing. As you compete, you’ll earn even more rewards: win three rounds to claim an additional booster, and four rounds to earn yet another.

Choose your path (or let fate decide):​

• Silverquill (White/Black): Masters of rhetoric and razor-sharp wit, wielding language as both inspiration and weapon.
  
• Prismari (Blue/Red): Elemental artists who turn fire, ice, and lightning into breathtaking magical performances.
• Witherbloom (Black/Green): Alchemists of life and death, drawing power from nature’s most primal forces.
• Lorehold (Red/White): Bold historians who summon the past to shape the future through discovery and action.
• Quandrix (Blue/Green): Mathematical mages who bend reality itself through patterns, fractals, and equations.
  

When registering, you’ll be asked for your preferred college—choose wisely, or select “no preference” and embrace the unknown.

Two-Headed Giant Changes

Team up and play in Two-Headed Giant—a fun, cooperative format where you and a partner battle together:

• Teams share a starting life total of 30
• Teammates take their turns simultaneously
• The team shares life, but no other resources (cards still refer to the individual player unless stated otherwise)
• Effects that say “each opponent” or “each player” affect each player individually
• You may block creatures attacking you or your teammate
• The team that goes first skips their first draw step
• Teams open and build from their card pool together

Pre-release kits are available for in store events only - take home kits will be available (pending availability) Sunday at 1 PM. 

If you purchase entry into this event, and do not participate, the cost of buy-in will automatically be refunded to store credit.
